Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where does your Wagyu come from?
A: Our Wagyu is sourced directly from certified farms in Japan and Australia. We work exclusively with established suppliers who meet the highest quality and animal welfare standards.
Q: Is the Wagyu fresh or frozen when you receive it?
A: Our Wagyu is always received fresh, never frozen. We’ve established agreements with our trusted suppliers to ensure that no meat is ever frozen before it reaches us. This matters to us because we want to be the first and only to flash-freeze the beef—giving us complete control over quality and guaranteeing that it was never previously frozen. Once it arrives, we flash-freeze it just once and only for a short period before shipping it to you. This process locks in the incredible flavor, marbling, and texture so you receive it in perfect condition, every time.
Q: How do I know your suppliers are credible?
A: We’ve spent months researching and reaching out directly to farms across Australia and Japan to ensure we’re working with the most reputable and certified producers of Wagyu. This direct approach means our beef comes straight from the source, with no middlemen. While we don’t disclose farm names to protect our sourcing relationships, we only partner with facilities that meet strict export, quality, and traceability standards to guarantee authentic, premium Wagyu every time.
Q: Who cuts your meat?
A: Every cut of Wagyu is trimmed and portioned by professional butchers with extensive experience working with high-end meats. Attention to detail ensures each steak meets luxury-grade standards.
Q: How is the meat packaged?
A: Each cut is individually vacuum-sealed immediately after being prepped. This process protects the marbling, flavor, and texture of the meat while extending freshness during shipping.
Q: Is the meat seasoned or marinated?
A: No. We deliver our Wagyu unseasoned, allowing you to experience its full, natural flavor profile and prepare it your way. Wagyu beef is known for its rich marbling and deep umami flavor, which means it truly needs very little—if any—seasoning. A simple touch of high-quality salt and pepper is all you need to let the meat shine.
Q: How is the meat shipped?
A: Every order is shipped in a custom temperature-controlled box with insulated liner bags and dry ice or gel ice packs, depending on the destination and weather. Your meat stays at safe temperatures from our facility to your front door.
Q: Will the meat arrive frozen or fresh?
A: Most orders arrive frozen but not rock-solid, which is ideal for safe transit and flexible cooking options. Depending on how it arrives, you can safely refreeze or thaw for use within 12 to 24 hours. Our flash-freezing and packaging process is designed to maintain optimal texture and flavor no matter the condition upon delivery.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Once we officially launch, we’ll be shipping orders out weekly with 3 day Ground shipping to ensure maximum freshness. You’ll receive full tracking and confirmation once your order leaves our facility.
Q: Do you deliver to all states?
A: Yes, we deliver to all states across the U.S. Shipping costs may apply depending on your location and distance from our South Florida facility. Exact shipping fees will be calculated at checkout.
Q: What happens if my order arrives late or damaged?
A: We take quality control seriously and stand behind every delivery. If your order arrives late, damaged, or compromised in any way, please contact us within 24 hours and send us a photo of the issue. We'll provide a credit or discuss options to make it right and ensure you're fully satisfied with your GYU experience.
Q: Can I trust ordering from a new company?
A: We get it — ordering Wagyu online from a new brand can feel like a leap. That’s why we’ve invested in top-tier suppliers, expert preparation, and safe shipping methods. We’re committed to transparency, customer service, and delivering the best Wagyu experience you’ve ever had.
