Gyu Luxury Meats is more than just a business—it’s the realization of a family’s journey, built on resilience, passion, and the pursuit of excellence. Our story begins with two parents who left everything behind in Cuba, immigrating to the United States with two young boys and a dream of building a better future. Through hard work and sacrifice, they instilled in their sons the values of perseverance, ambition, and above all, family.

As the years passed, the Pastrana brothers each carved their own path—one becoming a board-certified doctor, the other a professional baseball player. Though their careers took them in different directions, they always shared a deep-rooted love for food, especially steak. Grilling on the weekends wasn’t just a tradition; it was a celebration of how far they had come. They were always on the hunt for the most flavorful, high-quality cuts, never settling for anything less than the best.

Their passion led them to discover Wagyu—a meat so rich in flavor and quality that it redefined their understanding of steak. After years of researching and sourcing from the finest farms, they knew it was time to turn their lifelong love for premium beef into something greater.
